Promotion of Unit Training Officer

Recently the Unit Training Officer, PO (SCC) Douglas van Henten, was successful at the National Officer Selection Board in Portsmouth.

This board is designed to put adult members of staff under some degree of pressure and to assess their management, communication & leadership skills. Douglas performed well across the weekend and was one of 2 successfull members from Northern Area, both from Clyde North District, to attend this board.

Having been successfull, displaying the level of ability required, PO van Henten has been promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant with immediate effect.
